Zamelda police needs assistance in identifying unknown man killed in hit and run

FREE STATE – Zamdela detectives are requesting assistance from the community in locating the family of an unknown deceased male who was at Snake Park section.

It is alleged that on Friday, 31 December 2021 at about 21:00, the police received a complaint of a hit and run at Snake Park. On arrival, police found an unknown African male with dreadlocks, estimated to be between the ages of 25 and 30 years. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black t-shirt, blue jean, brown belt and brown grass hopper shoes. The deceased had no identification documents on him.

The police requests anyone who may know anyone matching the description or who has a missing family member matching the description, to contact Detective Constable Oupa Jhekemba on 078 576 2309.
