\u201cThe album features six tracks that pay homage to the highlife genre\u2019s rich history, while also incorporating contemporary elements that make it accessible and relevant to today\u2019s music scene.<\/P>

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Godwin Opara, fondly called Kabaka, is a famous guitarist and the leader of the Oriental Brothers International Band.<\/P>

The band has been famous in Eastern Nigerian highlife scene for several years.<\/P>

The 77-year-old singer, composer and instrumentalist noted that \u2018Abialam\u2019 aimed at restoring the highlife genre.<\/P>

\u201cIt\u2019s an honour to represent highlife music on a global stage and make history with this album,\u201d he said.<\/P>

Some of his major albums with the Oriental Brothers include \u2018Uwa Atualamujo\/ Ihe Chinyere,\u2019 \u2018Ihe Oma,\u2019 \u2018Isichim nyara gi,\u2019 \u2018Five Fingers,\u2019 \u2018Oriental Special,\u2019 \u2018Osa enwe akwu,\u2019 \u2018Onyeoma nmadu eji egbuya,\u2019 \u2018Anam ele chi,\u2019 \u2018Hallelujah,\u2019 \u201cMadu bu aja\u2019 and \u2018Abialam\u2019.<\/P>
