DURBAN \u2013 This morning at 03:00, the King Cetshwayo District Crime Intelligence and Essential Infrastructure Task Team (EITT) conducted an intelligence driven operation at Nhlabane Reserve in KwaMbonambi where they were searching for a suspect that is wanted for various crimes including murder.
\nInvestigations revealed that the suspect is working as a bodyguard for a businessman. His firearm was subjected to ballistic testing to determine if he is linked to cases of murder that were reported recently.
\nDuring the operation the 36-year-old man was searched and found in possession of a firearm and ammunition. He was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition and was detained at KwaMbonambi SAPS. He will appear before KwaMbonambi Magistrate Court on Monday 31 October 2022.<\/p>\n
