{"id":46870,"date":"2022-08-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-08-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/southafricagazette.com\/?guid=1f9736ebbe650e9a0327098d0b6a0b9b"},"modified":"2022-08-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-15T00:00:00","slug":"sa-participates-in-moscow-conference-on-international-security","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southafricagazette.com\/sa-participates-in-moscow-conference-on-international-security\/","title":{"rendered":"SA participates in Moscow Conference on International Security"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>Defence and Military Veterans Minister Thandi Modise is in Moscow, Russia, to attend the 10th Moscow Conference on International Security.<\/P><P>At the invitation of Russian Minister of Defence, General Shoigu, the conference, which runs from 15 to 17 August, is being attended by Ministers of Defence from different countries as well as experts and key stakeholders in the military field.<\/P><P>The conference\u2018s objectives are to share practical ideas and explore solutions on matters of global security, said the Ministry of Defence and Military Veterans.<\/P><P>Modise is set to address the conference on Tuesday and she is scheduled to have a bilateral meeting with General Shoigu on the margins of the conference.<\/P><P>South Africa and the Russian Federation enjoy cordial relations.
