EDEN DISTRICT – A warrant of arrest has been issued by the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court against a suspect who is sought in connection with the murder of Margaretha S Willemse (79) on Saturday, 04 June 2022 at Albatros Street, Pinnacle Point, Mossel Bay.

Investigation into the brutal killing reveals that the husband (87) of the deceased alerted the neighbour’s caretaker about his deceased wife at about 10:00 on that morning on 04 June 2022. They proceeded to the premises and found the deceased in the bedroom with a wound to the neck. The suspect, Clement Siabata Kholoane a Lesotho National, was positively linked to this incident through forensic evidence (fingerprints) found on the scene.

Police has launched a search for the suspect who fled the area ever since. The possibility that the suspect could find himself in the Bloemfontein area or might have fled to Lesotho, is not excluded.
