FICKSBURG – The Provincial Organized Crime Investigation based in Phuthaditjhaba is looking for the suspect (in attached identikit) wanted for an alleged house robbery perpetrated on a farm in Ficksburg.

It’s alleged that on 18 July 2021 at about 19:40, the couple, both aged 52, was preparing to go to bed when they were suddenly accosted by three armed males who robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victims were reportedly beaten and seriously injured and were taken to the local hospital for medical treatment. The suspects took an axe before they fled the scene. No suspects have been arrested thus far and the case is still under investigation.
