FREE STATE – A 25-year-old suspect was arrested on Friday, 16 September 2022 by the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team together with Tactical Response Team (TRT) all based in Bloemfontein.

On Friday, 16 September 2022, the police conducted a joint disruptive operation in Bloemfontein Willows area, where they visited an apartment that is alleged to be processing cannabis products and sell them to students.

During the search of the premises dagga, space cookies, jelly sweets, scale were discovered. All the recovered products including the undisclosed amount of money were seized.

The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
