Ngqeleni members dedicated in the fight against crime

In an effort to eradicate proliferation of illegal firearms in our society a 32 year old man has been arrested after having been found in possession of a 9mm short pistol without ammunition at Lujizweni No 5 locality in Ngqeleni during an operation conducted by Ngqeleni Vispol and Detectives during the early hours of today the 11 July 2018 at about 01h00.

The suspect will appear before Ngqeleni Magistrate Court tomorrow the 12 July 2018 facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearm and the firearm will be sent for ballistic testing.

The continuous operation by Ngqeleni members made an arrest of two suspects with ages between 42 and 44 at Mhlakotshana locality, Nkumandeni A/A in Ngqeleni yesterday the 10 July 2018 at about 03h00. The suspects were arrested after having been found in possession of dagga weighing 18.390Kgs with a estimated street value of R18 390. They will be caused to appear before Ngqeleni Magistrate Court today the 11 July 2018 facing charges of possession and dealing in dagga.
