The Police in Limpopo are looking for two unknown suspects responsible for the killing of a 44 year old warrant officer who was attached to Crime Prevention at the Bolobedu police station.
The incident took place around 19:00 on Sunday evening at Ga-Matipane village in the Bolobedu area, when Warrant Officer Godfrey Mantlhake (44) and his girlfriend were standing next to his vehicle in the street. Two unknown men approached them and pulled out fire-arms. Warrant Officer Mantlhake was shot three times in the head and chest before the suspects fled. The motive for the attack is not known.
An appeal is made to anybody who might have witnessed the attack, or anyone who might have more information on the suspects to provide it to the investigating officer, Major Shingange at 078 531 8184 or 082 469 2625.
