Anti-substance abuse campaign in Mayfield

It was started off with a prayer before involved in a walk today when almost ten role players including community members converge at Mayfield Ext 1 Senzele to stand up against anti-substance abuse.

However, stakeholders involved in this campaign were as follows: City of Ekurhuleni; SANCA; Ithemba VEC; the Wesleyan Church; ENDED Rope; Chaplain Emergency Response; Christ our Redeemer Ministries; Shine Church and law enforcement agencies SAPS and EMPD not to forget CPF and its brainchild patrollers. They all participate in a walk from Tau Street in Mayfield to Mayfield Square Mall to say no to substance abuse around their community.

Upon their arrival at Mayfield Square Mall they absolutely stage on a little prayer before returning back to Sizumphakhathi community centre in Mayfield whereby the campaign will end up with a dialogue involving different guest speakers engaging a centre stage. The project has also consists of entertainment coming from different artists whom get themselves involve in fighting substance abuse within communities.

The campaign went out very well.
